Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to promote a robust education system which will encompass all the students in the state and advance the standard of education, especially in government-run schools.
CM Khandu stated that the government hopes for a future where government schools are the preferred choice for all, regardless of the socio-economic background.
Attending the final day of the three-day Chintan Shivir-cum Education Conclave in Itanagar, CM Khandu said, “Our goal is to elevate the standard of government schools to a level where every parent feels comfortable to send their children to these institutions. We envision a future where government schools are the preferred choice for all, regardless of socio-economic background.”
“Together, let’s commit to creating a world-class education system that benefits all our children, regardless of background or status,” said the Chief Minister.
CM Khandu said that with such a goal in mind, he is grateful to the State Education Department led by Education Minister Pasang Dorjee Sona and his Advisor Mutchu Mithi for organizing the 3-day Chintan Shivir cum Education Conclave 2024.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu urged all MLAs, panchayat leaders, district administrations and deputy directors of school education to assess the condition of all government-run schools within their respective purview and finalise a reformation roadmap by September 15.
He added that by October 20, all completed roadmaps have to be turned up to the education department.
