Arunachal: Government Schools Shine in CBSE 2024–25 Exams, CM Khandu Lauds Students

For Class X, Lower Dibang Valley emerged as the top performer, recording an impressive 87.30% pass rate.

State-run government schools in Arunachal Pradesh have shown a stellar performance in the CBSE 2024–25 board examinations. Kra Daadi district led the Class XII results with an exceptional 98.59% pass percentage, the highest among all districts. For Class X, Lower Dibang Valley emerged as the top performer, recording an impressive 87.30% pass rate.

Girls continued to outperform boys in Class XII, achieving a pass percentage 5.94% higher than their male counterparts. Over 91% of girl students passed the exams, reinforcing the consistent trend of female academic excellence in the state.

Among individual achievers, Kabit Tayeng from Government Secondary School, Parsing (Upper Siang), secured the top spot in Class X with a remarkable 96.4%. Close behind was Kalden Gyatso Kee of GHSS Lumla, who scored 96.2%.

In Class XII, Irfan Ali of GHSS Khonsa emerged as the state topper with a score of 92.8%. Phohee Wangsa from GHSS Pongchau (Longding) followed closely, securing 91.8%.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu lauded the achievements on X, stating, “We are proud to share the outstanding performance of state-run government schools in the CBSE 2024–25 exams. These achievements reflect the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the commitment of our schools.”

These results highlight the rising academic standards in Arunachal Pradesh’s government institutions and mark a significant milestone in the state’s ongoing journey to enhance quality education.
