The flood situation in Arunachal Pradesh’s badly affected Changlang district has shown signs of improvement, but few areas under the Miao sub-division are still under threat. As per inputs, erosion by the rivers like Buri Dehing and Noa-Dehing has further increased the risk, prompting the local administration to swing into action. Huge patches of land have been eroded, particularly due to the erosion by the Buri Dehing River in the Balinong area. The ITI campus too is hit by severe erosion, and the local administration is shifting the institution to a safer location.
