Arunachal BJP President and Lok Sabha MP Tapir Gao has asked the Centre to take measures to end apprehensions among the people in the Northeast about the Citizenship Amendment Bill.
Arunachal BJP President and Lok Sabha MP Tapir Gao has asked the Centre to take measures to end apprehensions among the people in the Northeast about the Citizenship Amendment Bill.
Speaking on the floor of the Lok Sabha, Tapir Gao said that apprehensions are running high in Arunachal Pradesh over the tabling of the Bill.
Tapir Gao suggested that the Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation and few sections of the Chin Hills Regulation should be brought under CAB so that the identity and rights of the people of the frontier state is protected.
