Renowned singer Arijit Singh, currently on his UK tour, won hearts online after a viral video showed him defending a fan from being mishandled by security. Several clips from his concerts have been circulating on social media, but one particular incident has caught the attention of netizens, showcasing Arijit’s humility and kindness.
During one of his performances, a female fan who was in the front row approached the stage to speak with the singer. As security intervened, a guard reportedly grabbed the woman by the throat, asking her to leave. Arijit immediately noticed the incident and reprimanded the guard, saying, “It’s not fair to grab somebody like that,” gesturing toward the neck. He apologized to the fan, saying, “I’m really sorry, ma’am. I wish I was there to protect you, but I could not. Please sit down.”

The fan later shared her experience on Instagram, describing how Arijit’s words felt like divine guidance. “As soon as he started singing, memories of my ex in London came flooding back—promises, betrayal, lies, and heartbreak,” she wrote. Arijit, without knowing her story, stopped the concert and gently advised her to “forgive and forget.”
The fan described the moment as life-changing, adding, “It felt like God was speaking through him. Tonight’s concert will forever be a core memory for me, helping me rewrite my story of love.”
