Suspended APS officer Rumi Timungpi is slated to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Assam Police at the CID office in Guwahati today in connection with the cash-for-job scam of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC). As per inputs, Rumi Timungpi allegedly acquired the post of APSC registered officer through fraudulent means. The officer reportedly did not even pass the 2013 APSC main examinations.
