On the second day of his visit, Union Home Minister Amit Shah today began his day by visiting and performing puja at the Pagoda Temple. Shah was accompanied by by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, deputy chief minister Chowna Mein and Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju during his visit to the Pagoda Temple.
The minister was seen sitting at the temple and taking part in the prayers.
Following this, the Union Home Minister is slated to attend a special programme at the community hall in Namsai where he would be inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for various development projects worth Rs 1000 crores. This will be followed by a security and development meeting which will take place at the Guest House in Namsai.
Amit Shah’s last programme will be having lunch with security personnel and interacting with them.
