In a case of alleged police high-handedness in Nagaland, a doctor from the state’s Wokha town was assaulted by cops.
In his complaint to the SP Wokha, the doctor stated that the incident happened at a local tri-junction while he was returning after buying groceries.
He alleged that the police personnel refused to listen to him and started assaulting him, leaving him injured.
The doctor even alleged that the police personnel were under the influence of alcohol and that an alcohol test should be conducted on the police personnel posted at the tri-junction.
The doctor also identified two of the police personnel who assaulted him.
