A minor boy from Meghalaya who was allegedly kidnapped proved too smart for his abductors as he managed to escape from the clutches of the abductors and found in Assam’s Nagaon district on Thursday.
As per reports, the minor boy was allegedly kidnapped by two miscreants from the Ri-Bhoi district and was kept at a remote area among the hills in Nellie.
However, the minor smartly managed to escape the clutches of his abductors.
While speaking to media the victim minor said, “I was abducted to be killed, and they tried to throw me from a bridge, but they were unable to do so because of the large crowd of people.”
“They grabbed my neck, as a result I lost my conscious and when I regained my consciousness, I immediately ran away from there”, he said.
“I know one abductor’s identity, his name is Bablu but I don’t know the other one”, he added.
On Thursday, he was rescued by a local woodcutter from the forest and handed over to the authorities.
Currently, the minor victim is undergoing treatment at the Morigaon Civil Hospital.
