In yet another instance of a police encounter, an alleged child molester was shot by a team of Assam Police last night.
As per reports, the accused, identified as Idris Ali, reportedly raped a 3-year-old, following which he was nabbed by the Batadraba Police.

Ali, however, tried to escape from custody when he was being taken to a hospital for a medical checkup, after which he was shot by the police.
He is currently being treated at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital.Ali had reportedly committed the heinous crime of April 19. Locals of Batadraba have demanded stringent punishment for the accused.
