The first Cargo flight operated by Air India dropped essential items in Tripura capital Agartala on Saturday.

The Air India Cargo flight landed in Agartala carrying 77 cartons of essential items weighing close to 500 kg.

Air India is operating special cargo flights to the Northeastern states to ensure constant supply of essential items.

It may be mentioned that DoNER Minister Jitendra Singh had informed yesterday that the Centre will send special chartered cargo flights to the Northeastern states carrying essential commodities.
