#Tripura | A large number of cases of African Swine Fever has been detected among pigs over the last few weeks now, the Animal Resource Development Department has so far culled as many as 240 pigs and piglets at the government-run Debipur farm and its adjacent areas in Sepahijala district. Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live, on the sidelines of World Veterinary Day celebrations on Saturday, Tripura’s Animal Resource Development Department Minister Bhagaban Chandra Das said that there is no vaccine for the disease in the world, for which the lone option to stop spread of the disease remains to be culling.
