Even as 10 among the 19 missing workers from Assam were rescued in Kurung Kumey district of Arunachal Pradesh, search operations continue to locate the 9 remaining workers. It may be mentioned here that the aerial search operations could not be conducted by the IAF earlier, primarily because of inclement weather conditions. However, not letting up, Deputy Commissioner Nighee Bengia has taken it on himself to trace the missing workers with whatever resources he has at his disposal.
