A senior leader of the All Asom Students Union has been allegedly assaulted by a local trader at Golaghat.

The AASU leader in question is Goalpara district in-charge Ratul Dutta. The trader Anup Gupta has alleged that Dutta tried to extort money from him along with a group of five men.
