The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) and Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) formally announced the name of their political party’s name on Monday morning.
The party has been named “Assam Jatiya Parishad”. With their slogan “Assam First, Always and Ever” the party promises to work for the development of the people of Assam.
It is to be mentioned that Assam Jatiya Parishad by the All Assam Students’ Union and AJYCP will contest 80-100 seats in the assembly elections in Assam due early next year.
