Seventy-five more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Tripura on Friday, pushing the state”s tally to 32,292, a health department official said.
The COVID-19 death toll rose to 362 with one patient succumbing to the infection on Thursday, he said.

West Tripura district, of which state capital Agartala is a part, has accounted for 185 of the 362 COVID-19 deaths, the official said.

At present, there are 962 active COVID-19 cases in the state.

So far, 30,945 people have recovered from the disease and 23 patients have migrated to other states, he said.

As many as 112 patients were discharged from GB Pant hospital, the state”s main referral medical establishment for COVID-19, on Thursday.

The state has so far conducted 5,05,957 COVID-19 tests, including 3,06,672 rapid antigen and 1,99,285 RT-PCR tests, the official said. PTI
