A 67 year old Australian tourist William Marinus died after he fell from the staircase of a hotel in Guwahati.
The injured tourist was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The police said that 5 people including the brother of the deceased was also there during the incident.
The group was staying in The Livavati Hotel in Pan Bazaar area of Guwahati.
