At least 6 labourers from Assam have been killed while several others received injuries in a coal mine disaster in Nagaland.
The incident took place at Risayan village in Bhandari constituency in Wokha district this afternoon.
4 labourers injured in the incident have been rushed to Dimapur.
3 of the 6 deceased labourers have been identified as– Majibur Ali, Kamal Chetry and Bishal Thapa.
The identities of the other three deceased have not yet been determined yet.
While some reports say that the deaths have been caused by a fire outbreak, some also suggest that a landslide took place in the mine.
