As the Centre is looking forward to bring in tough law against rape, another heinous incident of minor being raped has been reported from Margherita in Tinsukia district.
The accused identified as 55 year old Ainul Haq was arrested by the police on charges of raping a 6 and a half year old minor girl at Lazum Basti.
The miscreant had lured the victim to his house while she was alone at her home. Meanwhile, medical reports have confirmed and a case has been registered at the Margherita police under the POCSO act.
