At least 520 people, including 106 children, tested positive for COVID-19 in Mizoram, taking the overall tally in the state to 21,854. This is the highest daily spike since June
At least 520 people, including 106 children, tested positive for COVID-19 in Mizoram, taking the overall tally in the state to 21,854. This is the highest daily spike since June 22.
The single-day positivity rate stands at 8.96 per cent.
The death toll rose to 98 as three more people succumbed to the infection in the last 24 hours.
Aizawl district reported the highest number of cases at 353, followed by Kolasib at 76 and 50 cases were reported from Lunglei.
Mizoram now has 3,730 active cases, and 18,026 people have recuperated from the disease so far.
Over 5.4 lakh beneficiaries have been vaccinated till date in the northeastern state.
