The Assam government is going to set up five new medical colleges in the state, announced health, finance and education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on the occasion of 74th Independence
The Assam government is going to set up five new medical colleges in the state, announced health, finance and education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on the occasion of 74th Independence Day celebration in Morigaon.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarma said, “This year we have initiated to establish new medical colleges at Biswanath Chariali, Charaideo, Goalpara and second one in Guwahati. Seventy per cent works for AIIMS at Changsari have been done. We have also started the process of setting up a new medical college at Morigaon.”
In his speech, Sarma outlined various developmental projects and welfare schemes undertaken by the BJP-led state government.
