Of the eight people who had gone missing in Assam’s Dima Hasao district, 6 have been rescued.
However there is still no information on the the whereabouts of the other two. Elsewhere, at Hangrum, under Mahur Police station a 69-year-old and her 35 year old son were found buried under heavy landslide.

This comes after 5 heavy duty dumpers were suspected to have been swept away by flash floods at Maibang in Assam’s Dima Hasao district.
Whereabouts of the drivers of the dumpers along with 7 others were yet to be ascertained.
The missing persons have been identified as Hirajul Islam, Himangshu Das, Ajay, Bahar, Sameer, Prem Singh.
