The Special Investigation Team of Arunachal Police has busted a porn racket following a complaint from a woman from the state.
The woman had complained that her picture posted on Instagram back in 2018 was morphed and uploaded on a porn website. Following the complaint, the SIT team from Arunachal Pradesh arrested TV actor and fitness instructor Avinash Verma from Noida in Uttar Pradesh.
Verma was brought to Itanagar where his interrogation is underway.
SP S.I.T. crime Rohit Rajbir Singh informed that the Interrogation of the accused has revealed that he has been running a porn website along with 6 other moderators. It has also been learnt that the website has over 1 lakh subscribers. As per reports, the accused has been running the website since 2018 and the morphed photographs of the victim were uploaded in January 2019.
