Mizoram CM Zoramthanga receives first jab of COVID-19 vaccine

Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga took the first dose of indigenously manufactured COVID-19 vaccine, Covishield at the state assembly house on Thursday. After receiving the vaccine, Zoramthanga taking to Twitter said,
Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga took the first dose of indigenously manufactured COVID-19 vaccine, Covishield at the state assembly house on Thursday.
After receiving the vaccine, Zoramthanga taking to Twitter said, “Took my first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on 04.03.2021 at 10:25 AM.”
Along with the Chief Minister, 13 other MLAs received the first dose of Covishield in the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive.
The beneficiaries include Deputy CM Tawnluia, Speaker Lalrinliana Sailo, Health Minister R Lalthangliana and Home Minister Lalchamliana among others.
All MLAs took the occasion to thank all the doctors, nurses, health workers and administrators for successfully implementing the vaccination drive in Mizoram.
