Three more cases of COVID-19 were reported in Meghalaya on Tuesday taking the total cases count to 43.

All three positive patients are returnees to the State from Delhi and Chennai. They are currently under quarantine and are reportedly asymptomatic.

Chief Minister Conrad sangma taking to Twitter informed, “Three more residents who returned to the State from Delhi and Chennai have tested positive for COVID19. All of them are under quarrantine and are asymptomatic.”

(Total Active cases 29, Total recovered 13)

Earlier, a 70-year-old without any travel history had tested positive for the deadly virus.

The state so far has detected a total of 43 positive cases. The active cases stansv29 active cases, 13 recovered and one dead.
