The number of COVID-19 cases in Assam continues to rise with 18 more testing positive for coronavirus on Wednesday.

Among the new cases, a resident of Kamrup (M) who travelled from Ahmedabad to Guwahati tested positive, while 14 other cases are from Golaghat, 2 from Karbi Anglong and 1 from Lakhimpur.

Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma taking to Twitter informed, “18 new cases of #COVID19+ incl first air carrier, a resident of Kamrup Metro, who travelled from Ahmedabad to Guwahati; 14 Golaghat, 2 Karbi Anglong, 1 Lakhimpur.”
