With different political parties intensifying campaign activities for the upcoming Manipur Legislative Assembly elections next year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also planning to join the election campaign in the state soon.
Reportedly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Manipur in the first week of January 2022 to address Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rally for the elections.
Reportedly, BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda would be coming to Manipur on January 30 following which the Prime Minister is also likely to visit the state where he will address an election rally in Imphal.

As per reports, the trip to Manipur will be part of the Prime Minister’s visit to five states which are to undergo elections early next year.
Meanwhile, Union minister of state Pratima Bhowmick will land on Monday while BJP national general secretary BL Santosh will be arriving in the state on Tuesday to hold talks on the ticket distribution process.
Reportedly, the BJP will be distributing tickets for the Manipur polls in three phases.
