2 trampled to death by wild elephants in Sonari

Man-elephant conflict reared its ugly head in Assam once again after two people were trampled to death by a herd of wild elephants in Sonari.

The deceased have been indentified as Vikas Tanti and Govind Tanti. The incident happened when the jumbos came out of the neighbouring forests in search of fodder.
