A major boat accident happened today at Doom Dooma in Assam’s Tinsukia district, killing two persons including a minor. While another person is still missing.
The boat capsized at the Kherbari Bhuvankhal river near Saykhowaghat where a husband, wife and child were on it.

The deceased have been identified as Milan Sahda, and his seven-year-old son Babu Sahda, whose bodies have been recovered from the river.
The body of the wife is still missing and she is feared to be dead. Search operations are currently underway in the area.
