Both were wanted in connection with a 2023 case involving the fabrication and testing of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in Pune and had a cash reward of Rs 3 lakh each announced for information leading to their arrest.
The case, registered as RC-05/2023/NIA/MUM, revolves around a criminal conspiracy by a 10-member ISIS sleeper module based in Pune.
