The police yesterday arrested 19 suspected Bangladeshi nationals at Dirak in Assam’s Tinsukia district who had sneaked into India through the porous India-Bangladesh border.

The illegal migrants who could not produce any valid documents and VISA were apprehended when they were trying to cross over to Arunachal Pradesh.

Those arrested during interrogation revealed that they had moved to Tinsukia from Karminganj.
