17 persons from BSF’s 86th Battalion at Ambassa have tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, taking the tally of positive cases in Tripura to 136.

This was informed by Chief Minister Biplab Deb on his official Twitter handle.

Deb tweeted, “17 persons found #COVID19 POSITIVE in Tripura today from 86th-Bn #BSF, Ambassa. No Civilian found POSITIVE among them.”

The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 132, 2 has been transferred out and 2 recovered.
