17 Including Child And Police Officer Injured in Violent Clash Over Land Dispute in Assam’s Cachar

As many as 17 people were injured including a child and a police officer, after a violent clash erupted over a long-standing land dispute at Karchura, under Kalain police station of Katigorah constituency in Assam’s Cachar district. The incident, which took place yesterday, involved two groups who clashed over a land dispute, resulting in the injury of 17 people, including women, a police officer and a young child. The injured are receiving treatment at Kalain CHC.
