Amidst hectic campaigning for the upcoming elections in Sikkim, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang took out time to offer prayers at Kabi Lungchok a historical site in Sikkim.

The Chief Minister made a stop at the site on his way to the Vijay Bhava Samellan in Mangan, North Sikkim Highway, where he offered prayers. The site holds historical significance in Sikkim.

Kabi Lungchok was where a brotherhood treaty was ritually signed between Lepcha Chief Te Kung Tek and Bhutia Chief Khey-Bum-Sa.
