Eight states, including Tripura and Mizoram, get new Governors

In a major reshuffle, President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday appointed new Governors for eight states, including two from the Northeast. Incumbent Tripura Governor Ramesh Kumar Bais has been transferred and appointed as the new governor of Jharkhand.
