Congress-AIUDF announces Veteran Journalist Ajit Bhuyan as Rajya Sabha candidate
The Congress and the AIUDF have announced veteran journalist Ajit Kumar Bhuyan as their common candidate for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections. Both parties made the announcement at a joint press conference in New Delhi. The announcement was made by Assam Congress chief Ripun Bora, Leader of Opposition Debabrata Saikia and AIUDF leader Hafeez Rashid.
