Indian opener Rohit Sharma scored his 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th One-Day International (ODI) centuries in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 to become the first Indian player to score four centuries in a single edition of World Cup.
The 32-year old has become the second in the all-time list of most centuries in a World Cup edition.
Apart from Rohit, Ex-Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara had achieved the feat in 2015 edition of the tournament.
Scoring the 26th ton, Rohit Sharma also became the first batsman in the history of World Cup to score four centuries as an opener.
