Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief and former cricketer Imran Khan has married spiritual guide Bushra Maneka, his party said on Sunday, thus ending weeks of speculation about the union.
Khan, a cricketer turned politician, married Bushra Bibi also known as Pinki Pir in a simple ceremony held in Lahore on Sunday. The marriage ceremony was held at Maneka’s brother’s residence in Lahore.
As a matter of fact, reports of his marriage have been doing the rounds since January. Khan had first tied the knot with Jemima Goldsmith in 1995 that ended in divorce after nine years in 2004. His second marriage was with Reham Khan, then a TV anchor, which lasted barely 10 months.
