Guwahati Municipal Poll results: BJP registers landslide victory; check list of winners

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has registered a thumping victory in the 60-member Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) elections.  The BJP and its ally Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) swept the hustings

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has registered a thumping victory in the 60-member Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) elections. 

The BJP and its ally Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) swept the hustings winning 58 seats among them while the grand old Congress party failed to win even a single seat in the GMC elections. 

On the other hand, the Aam Admi Party (AAP) and the Asom Jatiya Parishad (AJP) opened their accounts winning one seat each.
