Ramchandraghat is an Assembly constituency in Tripura. In 2018, IPFT candidate Prasanta Debbarma won the seat by defeating CPI(M) candidate Padma Kumar Deb
Ramchandraghat is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Tripura state in India. It is in Khowai district and is reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes. It is also part of East Tripura Lok Sabha constituency.
In 2018 assembly elections the constituency had 39,165 electors. In 2023 the population of Purba Ramchandraghat population in 2023 is estimated to be 5,377 and Uttar Ramchandraghat population in 2023 is estimated to be 3,128.
Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura candidate Prasanta Debbarma is the sitting MLA of the constituency. He won the seat by defeating PADMA KUMAR DEB BARMA of the Communist Party of India (marxist) with a margin of 4235 votes. He is again contesting the 2023 assembly election as a IPFT candidate from Ramchandraghat constituency.
