Kalyanpur-Pramodenagar is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Tripura. It is in Khowai district and a part of East Tripura Lok Sabha constituency. Kalyanpur is a Town and Subdivision in West Tripura district. Kalyanpur subdivision has a population density of 430 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 11,140 houses in the sub-district. Pramodnagar is a Village in Kalyanpur Block in West Tripura district. It is located 41 KM from State capital Agartala.
BJP candidate Pinaki Das Chowdhury is the sitting MLA of the constituency. He won the seat for the party in the 2018 Assembly elections with 20,293 votes by defeating Communist Party Of India (marxist) Manindra Chandra Das with a margin of 3141 votes.
