Golaghati Constituency: Golaghati is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Tripura which comes under Sipahijala district and is reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes. It is also part of West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency.The estimated population of Golaghati in 2023 is 8,744.
BJP candidate Birendra Kishore Debbarma is the sitting MLA of the constituency, He won the seat for the party in 2018 Assembly elections with 19228 votes defeating CPI(M) candidate Keshab Debbarma with a margin of 3498 votes.
CPM candidate Keshab Debbarma won the seat for his party in 2013 Assembly elections.
