Bamutia is an assembly constituency in Tripura. In 2018, this constituency was won by the BJP’s Krishnadhan Das by defeating Haricharan Sarkar of CPI-M with a margin of 972 votes. Haricharan Sarkar had won the seat in 2013 and 2008 by defeating Congress candidate.
In 2008, he won the seat by defeating Prakash Chandra Das of the Congress and again in 2013, he defeated Prakash Chandra Das by a margin of 2,750 votes.
