Bagbassa is an assembly constituency in Tripura. In 2018, Bijita Nath of the Communist Party Of India (Marxist) won the seat by defeating Pradip Kumar Nath of the Bharatiya Janata Party with a margin of 270 votes.

Bijita also won the seat in 2013 by defeating Jyotirmoy Nath of the Congress by 2,932 votes.
