Impur Assembly constituency is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Nagaland. It is part of Mokokchung District and is reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes. Impur is a Village in Kubolong Subdivision, Mokokchung district. The estimated population of Impur in 2023 is 559.

The Impur seat is now vacant after former Nagaland speaker and sitting MLA of NPF, Dr Imtiwapang Aier died on January 7, 2023 following a brief illness.

Late MLA Dr Imtiwapang Aier won the seat for Nagaland Peoples Front (NPF) in the 2018 Assembly elections by defeating his opponent, NDPP MLA T N Mannen with a margin of 62 votes.

T N Mannen has been contesting from the seat since 2008. Since NPF has not filed any candidate from this seat this time the fight will be between Mannen and his only opponent from Congress Bendangkokba.
