Although Lawrence Bishnoi has denied any involvement in this "threat chit," he had previously made death threats against Salman Khan.

Actor Salman Khan’s security has been upgraded to Y+ grade by the Maharashtra government on Tuesday.

This has been decided in light of recent threats to him allegedly by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which is believed to be behind the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

The 12 armed cops he was given as part of “X” security would now now include commandos.

Meanwhile, actors Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher’s security was also categorized. From the current X category. Kumar and Kher will get the X category.

The threat to Salman Khan came in July, two months after men allegedly supported by Lawrence Bishnoi, who is in jail, killed Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala near his village in the Mansa district of Punjab.

Salim Khan, Salman Khan’s father found the threat on a piece of paper that had been put on a bench where he usually sat after his daily stroll.

Last month, Delhi Police claimed that gangsters attempted to make friends with some of the personnel at the actor’s farmhouse in order to learn more about his schedule.

Although Lawrence Bishnoi has denied any involvement in this “threat chit,” he had previously made death threats against Salman Khan.

According to the Eknath Shinde-BJP government of Maharashtra, the state’s Home department decided to grant Salman Khan ‘Y Plus,’ the fourth highest security grade currently offered in India, following a threat perception review.
