During his visit Putin met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind, where the Russian President and Indian Prime Minister addressed India-Russia Business Summit.

The most important deal signed between PM Modi and President Putin was the S-400 triumph missile system. India will finally acquire the S-400 air defense system, the world’s most lethal surface-to-air missile system, from Russia amid a threat of sanctions from the US.

Apart from these, several Memorandums of Understandings (MoU) were signed between India and Russia in fields of space, nuclear and railways during his visit.
