After his two day visit in India, Russian President Vladimir Putin concluded his two-day visit to India and departed for Russia from New Delhi on October 5.
During his visit Putin met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind, where the Russian President and Indian Prime Minister addressed India-Russia Business Summit.
The most important deal signed between PM Modi and President Putin was the S-400 triumph missile system. India will finally acquire the S-400 air defense system, the world’s most lethal surface-to-air missile system, from Russia amid a threat of sanctions from the US.
Apart from these, several Memorandums of Understandings (MoU) were signed between India and Russia in fields of space, nuclear and railways during his visit.
