PM Modi’s virtual rally ahead of Phase 2 polls in Manipur, takes potshots at Congress

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a virtual rally for the second phase of polling in Manipur.

Addressing the gathering, PM Modi said that the BJP is committed to the all-around development of the state. Further, PM Modi, while taking potshots at the former Congress government, said that the government under Chief Minister N Biren Singh has always worked for the inclusive development of Manipur and ended bandh culture.

PM Modi said that development has taken place at a rapid pace in Manipur under the N Biren Singh-led BJP government. Lauding the Go to Hills initiative, he said that the BJP government has bridged the hill valley divide in the state.

The Prime Minister said that the BJP government has given priority to the overall development of the northeastern region.

PM Modi further added that the BJP would work in the direction of making Manipur a powerhouse of sports.

PM Modi said that Manipur has created records during the first phase of polls and the people of the state have blessed the BJP with a huge number of votes. He also appealed to the people to vote for the BJP in the second phase as well.
