Madhya Pradesh: Bride almost marries sister’s groom after mix-up due to power cut

In a bizarre incident from Madhya Pradesh, two sisters who were getting married at the same wedding hall almost married the wrong grooms when a power outage caused some confusion.

In a bizarre incident from Madhya Pradesh, two sisters who were getting married at the same wedding hall almost married the wrong grooms when a power outage caused some confusion.

The brides performed the wedding ceremony in the dark with the wrong husbands.

The incident took place on Sunday at Aslana village in Badnagar tehsil, around 20 kilometres from Ujjain.

The brides both were in ghoonghats (veils) and wearing the same wedding dresses performed the wedding rituals with the wrong grooms in the dark.

The blunder was not noticed until it was too late. As per reports, the grooms had taken the wrong brides home when the blunder came to light.

Later, after a brief disagreement, the families were able to reach an agreement. The brides and grooms were asked to execute the rituals the next day with their respective companions.

The bizarre occurrence has caused a lot of buzz on social media.
